The Town Hall gives residents a chance to meet the partner organizations working on the Initiative, hear updates on project status, and ask questions directly. It is intended as a community update, not a planning or decision-making session.
Representatives will be on hand from several partner organizations, each working on a different piece of the Initiative: Fugro is leading slope stabilization analysis on Dock Road; BST Associates is completing an economic analysis of the working waterfront; NWR is designing a new seawater delivery system for the dock; and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is advancing Port site planning. The Energy Technology Initiative Partnership Project (ETIPP), a U.S. Department of Energy program with partners from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and Spark Northwest, will lead a facilitated scenario-planning exercise on power outage resilience and share early findings from an energy use assessment that will begin in August.
